Any person operating a hyperbaric chamber should be certified! This course will teach the basics of hyperbaric safety, protocols and best practices every clinic needs to know. This 8 hour course is online and done at your own pace! Completion earns the Basic Hyperbaric Technician (BHT) IBUM Certification. Course is for individual technicians or full clinic staff. Additional start up and safety screening support is also available.

IBUM Safety Director - Level 1

NFPA99 guidelines require every hyperbaric facility to have a Certified Safety Director in the United States. 

This is an introductory safety Director program / certification which requires classroom or video attendance and passing a written examination.  This is a basic introductory to Safety requirements for a hyperbaric chamber system and is limited in certification to 1.3 AT chambers which are air only. This is the minimum standard for information in safety of hyperbaric systems.

Established in 2004, the International Hyperbaric Association was founded with the simple goal of increasing the awareness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to both the medical community and consumers alike. Through a combination of strategic initiatives, annual events, training certification, research grants and scholarships the mission continues today to educate the community at-large on the benefits of HBOT and provide accessibility for those in need to improve health and wellness.
